Communication: Communication is the key to our society being successful. Squadrons should at all times understand the goals of the society and how to accomplish them. Hence, my goal for the society is to have 100% of squadrons reporting the hours that they have worked so hard to accomplish. Squadrons should be proud to report all of the hours they have earned. Squadrons that are leading in hours will be recognized on the national website through the use of online hours graphs. Under communication comes continuity. The society does many great things for the community, AFROTC, and the Air Force. It is important that information is passed along to each squadron staff.

JNP: The main focus of the society is to be on our Joint National Project. Involve AFA and Silver Wings units in this joint project The past several years the society has been moving back to a JNP focused society. To move closer toward this, the past year’s goal was to have 50% of projects to be JNP related. The next step for the society and my goal, if selected, is for 50% of all service hours to be JNP related. While this may seem a lot, the society’s focus is supposed to be the JNP. Half of all our hours is not even a majority, but it is a strong step in the right direction. We can accomplish this through proper attention and communication. A society with a single focus gains more attention and recognition from the Air Force, AFROTC, and the public. However, it is still important that squadrons continue their traditional projects. Even though we are one society, every squadron has their identifying marks that set them apart from other organizations in AFROTC and the community.

POW/MIA: I believe every squadron should be honoring and remembering the Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action. These men and women have and are continuing to sacrifice their lives for our great nation. Many schools sponsor amazing POW/MIA events that include, but are not limited to, vigils, flyovers, guest speakers, and marches. Everyone can learn from these projects, and if we are selected I will post these projects on the national website with detailed continuity.
