SW National Business Chair

This year got off to a great start with Executive Boards in Washington D.C. Below you will find a 2006 Executive Board Resolutions document which includes all resolutions presented at Executive Boards and their results. Resolutions S1 and S2 should be read by all Chapter Presidents as they pertain to Chapter dues and ordering equipment. Also provided below is a briefing entitled “Resolutions, NBCs, NPars, and You.” This briefing has important guidance for submitting Natcon resolutions, their format, and how to apply for National Parliamentarian. NPar applications (SW Form 12) are due to myself, the EMC, and the SW National President by 1 Dec. Guidance can be found in SWM 5-3. All Chapters should have an officer acting as Parliamentarian. Under SWM 11-9.b.4 the Chapter Vice President conducts all parliamentary procedure unless a Parliamentarian position has been created. It’s a good idea to practice parliamentary procedure within your Chapter so you can follow the fast pace procedures at Natcon! Chapter elections are a great place to start. “Roberts-Rules of Order - Newly Revised” is the best source of information.
