Vice President
Accessible Information: Various problems require varying speeds of response. To ensure that all questions be answered in a timely manner, I pledge a 24-hour maximum response time for e-mails and phone messages. Also, I will open a message board on the national website for message threads to be posted for everyone’s access. Additionally, I will post any pertinent information to help all chapters secure the information they need. I am confident that through accessibility, we can keep problems under control.
Cooperative Progress:By receiving individual chapter reports through the Regional Executive Officers, I can evaluate and determine the events and projects that are best serving the group and society. I will then redistribute these ideas through REOs so that chapters across the country can essentially help each other improve their chapter and the organization as a whole. I feel that the sharing of knowledge and experience is crucial to creating a national Silver Wings community.
Renewed Relations:Although we work closely with the Arnold Air Society, many of us do not truly understand its mission or the process by which it functions. Through the Joint Relations Committee, I will work to establish a greater mutual understanding among members of both groups. After meeting with the group, I will publish our discussion so that all chapters can benefit from an increased comprehension of our sister society. I believe that when we appreciate the roles and duties of our peers, we are all better equipped to accomplish our goals and to help others.
